QA Engineer - System Test
Procurant is looking for dynamic and enterprising software professionals to join our team in Pune, India. In this role, you will be responsible for doing both design and development of an automated framework and processes to test our solutions end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Build an automated testing framework to validate product and system functionality.
- Design and set up performance, volume, scalability, longevity and reliability tests.
- Use scripts and other system test tools to build a repeatable test automation workflow that validates the product end-to-end.
- Write scripts to test product component interoperability (microservices).
- Participates in and assist in early stabilization activities for releases.
Core Qualifications
- BE in Computer Science (or equiv.).
- 2+ years experience in software testing automation.
- 2+ years of working experience with performance and API testing.
- Experience with Selenium Webdriver, Jmeter, Postman and similar tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a continual build/release agile environment.
- Experience with micro-services and messaging architectures.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure or AWS
- Knowledge of Microservice build and deploy processes
- Understanding of relational and Nosql database systems.
- iOS and/or Android development experience is a plus.
- Experience with SpringBoot, REST, Kafka
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Script writing skills (shell scripts, Python or similar)
